The game has been pushed back to July 10th. It’s always best to wait for the game to be ready than to rush delivery.

Hey Backers and Friends,

Well, this update isn’t going to be the barrel full of monkeys and fun that the others are. I might be hyperbolic by calling them a barrel full of monkeys and fun, but I digress.

I’m writing to you all to let you know about a slight change in the release date of Quest For Infamy.

Yes – we were originally scheduled to launch the game on the 26th of June, but I was contacted by the good people of GoG a few weeks ago. They let me know that the GoG #DRMFree Summer Sale would be going on during that period – and Steam was having their summer sale during that period. They’ve been really supportive over at GoG, and they didn’t want QFI to get lost as a new release in the Sale Period – they want to be able to feature it on the front page and promote it properly. While a bit of a bummer, we have decided to push the release date back two weeks to Thursday, July 10th. I’m sorry – you’ll have to wait two more weeks to finally dive into the Kingdom of Lonaria, and see just what the Valley of Krasna has to offer.

I have to thank you all for waiting this long, but I think you’ll enjoy the game. It’s been an epic riding creating it – and I just wish you all the best in playing it, and my hope is that you enjoy it! After the game comes out for download, we have the process of finishing the QFI Companion – and then assembling up the rest of the physical rewards and beginning the process of getting them out to you.

So many of you have been so actively supportive, and many of you I have come to call “friend” and that has been one of the amazing joys of this project. I’m amazed at the game we’ve created, and we could not have done it without you. From everybody at Infamous Quests, thank you very, very, very much.
